BELLE EPOQUE Extraordinarily luxury hotel and definitely the most detailed and beautiful architectural project that I was involved it. And of course it all begins with water. The ten seconds super slow motion full hd shot of sea waves on sunrise is the best beginning of Belle Epoque video that I can imagine. The hotel is on a few meter of the beach, and this is why the water had to have a huge part in this movie. So I decided to create a several beautiful super slow motion shots of water. A massive simulations had to be made for the three slow motion shots. To do this we use Phoenix FD. That soft is incredibly promising. You can see the simulation directly in 3ds max viewport, press pause and render to see how it is, if you don't like it just simulate again with changes. It's fast and give you incredible control. Of course.. it is really hard achieve simulations for detailed close-ups, but believe me, with another software like RealFlow it will be ten times more harder.
